Hockley Valley Wedding... Congratulations Alex And Don... And Thankyou To Rowell Photography For The Great Shots!

We loved doing the flowers and decor for a wedding in Hockley Valley, not at the resort in Hockley Valley, (although we do quite a few there too.) but at the private residence of Alex and Don. What a beautiful area of horse farms and seasonal cottages, beautiful hills and streams. The setting was as pretty as could be. Both the wedding reception and ceremony took place at the couples home in Hockley Valley and we were thrilled to be a part of it! Congrats to a very special couple!

The Romance of a Harp...

Meet the very talented Chantal Dube, one of Ontario's finest solo harpists. I have had the pleasure of working on many weddings with Chantal. Check our her blog and website at www.chantaldube.blogspot.com / as you consider musical options for your ceremony and reception.

Krystian and Bree... Save the Date!

Aren't these beautiful?!! Bree worked with Pulp and Pearl to create these exquisite invitations. Classic, elegant and sophisticated, all wrapped up in a custom made box. What a great way to start out the theme for the wedding. Now I'm not going to tell you exactly what Bree and Krystian's wedding is going to look like but you can be sure the invitations are the first clue.. Classic, elegant and sophisticated! Watch for pics of their upcoming wedding! Can't wait Bree!

Pretty things..

I love the idea of floral simple floral pieces in glassware repeated. Elegant, sophisticated, yet soft and pretty. Our little shop in Palgrave is small. No room for clutter and overbearing pieces.. Our glass vases stay put, but the beauty is that as each season brings new flowers and greens, we can change the floral for a new look. This is a great idea for mantles, foyer tables and of course head tables. Watch for this in some of the weddings that we will be featuring.

Barrie Event Planning... Little Bit Of Las Vegas...

We love weddings, but we always enjoy when a fun themed event comes along! The Maclaren Art Centre in Barrie was the venue of choice for a evening of feathers and fun. Of course though, I can't help but think what a great venue this would be for a wedding! Neutral palette with an artsy downtown feel. LOVE IT!
