Muskoka Wedding Decor, Flowers And Bayview Wildwood Resort

We were thrilled to do the flowers and decor for Mat and Lindsey's wedding in beautiful Muskoka. This was a unique wedding, not just because David was the officiant but because the couple hosted their wedding over three days, allowing guests to enjoy the fabulous setting. All intentions were for an outdoor ceremony, but mother nature just would not cooperate! No problem though, the rustic but beautiful birch 'chuppa' was erected inside. Lindsey and Matt wanted to embrace the beauty of the Muskoka area with their decor elements so birch stumps with candles lined the aisle in between 'distressed' tins of flowers. The reception was held in the main dining room in the Bayview Wildwood lodge overlooking the beautiful waters. Birch stumps held the peony, mums and gerbera daisy floral arrangements. Orangeville Wedding Decor.. Farm Weddings... congratulations Meghan and Matt! Can't wait til the big day!

Most who know me, know just how much of a country girl I am! After a long days work, and putting the last centrepiece on a table, nothing feels better then making my way out of the city, to swing my leg over the back of my barrel horse 'Rica' and spending some time in the corral with David and the kids. Granted, I'll have to listen to them tell me just how bad of a rider I am, but Rica doesn't seem to mind! Now don't get me wrong I love the city (or at least the malls in the city), but when it comes to my roots, you'd be surprised to know, I appreciate the smell of barn as much as a gardenia! For this reason, it is with great excitement that we prepare for Megan and Mat's wedding decor near Orangeville.
Meghan is a dear friend and a true 'cowgirl! Her family own and operate a dairy farm west of Orangeville so it was only fitting to have have her engagement pictures and wedding on the property. Now while Meghan is all 'country', she wanted to make sure her wedding decor was elegant while still embracing elements of farm life. Watch for pictures of her special day..

Barrie Wedding Decorating... Todd And Kelly Plan To Tie The Knot And Plant A Vineyard!

I was thrilled to meet Todd and Kelly the other night! They are accomplishing a lot all at once and I was amazed at there ambition and drive! Kelly and Todd are getting married at the very trendy art gallery Mclaren Art centre in Barrie, but in addition to hosting one of the most important day of their lives, they are in the process of purchasing a vineyard in the Niagara region. Rather then usual wedding gifts, Todd and Kelly are requesting that guests be a special part in planting their vineyard buy purchasing vines! Now how special is that! I think that is the best wedding decorating ever! As they watch the vines grow and as they harvest the bounty they will provide Todd and Kelly will always be reminded of their commitment to each other! I LOVE it!! Hockley Valley Wedding... Congratulations Alex And Don... And Thankyou To Rowell Photography For The Great Shots!

We loved doing the flowers and decor for a wedding in Hockley Valley, not at the resort in Hockley Valley, (although we do quite a few there too.) but at the private residence of Alex and Don. What a beautiful area of horse farms and seasonal cottages, beautiful hills and streams. The setting was as pretty as could be. Both the wedding reception and ceremony took place at the couples home in Hockley Valley and we were thrilled to be a part of it! Congrats to a very special couple!
