The flowers and decor for Mike and Melanie's wedding at Mississauga Convention Centre were inspired from the amazing invitations that the bride herself designed. Melanie and her sister are the owners of Paper Damsels, a custom invitation company and their work is outstanding! The whole wedding was a reflection of Mike and Melanies personalities. The wedding flowers and decor were funky and fun! Black and white damask was the theme, with green floral and feather accents. I just had to get a few pictures of the wedding up but really looking forward to getting the professional ones from the couple! Although we had some reservations about being filmed while working, we had a stellar time working with the crew from Rich Bride Poor Bride. Watch for this wedding next spring on the popular wedding tv show. A very special thankyou to one of our amazing crews for all your hard work and to Jessy for her incredible draping talent! Lastly Kudos to Mike and Mel for 'stepping outside the box'! It is always exciting to work with a bride who is willing to be a little 'risky' with her wedding decor and flowers.
