Caledon Seasonal And Christmas Decor.. Kidzz Store Gets A New Look!

Rachel A. Clingen had the fun and exciting opportunity to give the Kidzz store in Bolton a new look with some fresh funky decor just in time for the Christmas and the holiday season. Parissa, the owner of the store consulted with Rachel to give the store a new boutique feel. The draping team at Rachel A. Clingen did a fabulous job lining the entire store with fabric. Kidzz specializes in brand name kids clothing and so the decor elements had to be whimsical and fun. Nothing to traditional. So when it came to doing the Christmas displays, purple and silver balls were the core items for the window decor. Winter white branches, glittery snowflakes, silver and purple balls and even some feathers were used for the store front display. A matching wreath finish the decor and welcome Caledon shoppers as they enter the chic little shop.

Toronto Wedding Flowers And Decor At Mississauga Convention Centre.. Congrats Mel And Mike!

The flowers and decor for Mike and Melanie's wedding at Mississauga Convention Centre were inspired from the amazing invitations that the bride herself designed. Melanie and her sister are the owners of Paper Damsels, a custom invitation company and their work is outstanding! The whole wedding was a reflection of Mike and Melanies personalities. The wedding flowers and decor were funky and fun! Black and white damask was the theme, with green floral and feather accents. I just had to get a few pictures of the wedding up but really looking forward to getting the professional ones from the couple! Although we had some reservations about being filmed while working, we had a stellar time working with the crew from Rich Bride Poor Bride. Watch for this wedding next spring on the popular wedding tv show. A very special thankyou to one of our amazing crews for all your hard work and to Jessy for her incredible draping talent! Lastly Kudos to Mike and Mel for 'stepping outside the box'! It is always exciting to work with a bride who is willing to be a little 'risky' with her wedding decor and flowers.

Rachel A. Clingen, Horse Farm Wedding In Caledon...

Yes I will have to admit that when Liz came to us about planning the flowers and decor for her wedding on her horse farm in Caledon, I got just a little excited. Not to sure how many times David and I have driven past this unbelievable property just to look at the amazing barn! Liz and I share a love for horses so it was with great excitement that we began to plan for her special day. The wedding ceremony was held on the veranda of the home overlooking the many perfectly groomed paddocks that surround the property. It was breathtaking! The wedding flowers and decor were created from a collection of photos that the bride had collected. Soft and natural greens, branches and a touch of purple. Thank you Liz and David for allowing us to be a part of your special day! Congrats!

Farm Weddings, Flowers and fun.. congratulations Meghan and Matt!

Yep, Rachel A. Clingen was 'right at home' on the farm doing the flowers and decor for Meghan and Matt's wedding near Orangeville! Meghan wanted elements from farm life implemented through the decor but also wanted to ensure that the word 'elegant' could be used to describe her special day. The combination of tin buckets with apples and black candelabras was a sure way to create both looks. Congratulations to Meg and Mat!

Rich Bride Poor Bride And Rachel A. Clingen Wedding Design Team Up

It did take a little convincing but not wanting to the the 'stick in the mud', I agreed to be a part of the new Rich Bride Poor Bride episodes. Our clients, Mel and Mike are really the true stars! We will be doing the flowers and decor for their wedding in Toronto next week and the show will air next spring. While I was nervous of being portrayed and filmed as the lunatic vendor who accidentally wipes out with a centrepiece in their hand, I must confess the the word 'reality tv' has taken on a whole new meaning to me. The truth is though, filming with the crew from Rich Bride Poor Bride was a lot of fun! Now don't watch the 'centrepiece' scene to closesly... I clearly am the worst actress, making a fool of myself, (no I didn't wipe out with a centrepiece!) often getting 'tongue tied' and using the word 'um' like 50 times.. Please don't hold it against me! I promise, I am a much better wedding decorator and florist then I am a 'reality tv actress'!

Wedding Flowers And Decor At Maclaren Art Centre In Barrie

When we designed the decor/flowers for Todd and Kelly's wedding at Maclaren Art Centre in Barrie, we wanted to work with the feel of the 'gallery'. Calla lillies on there own are linear and beautiful but arranging them on the angle in a vase presented them in a slightly more 'artistic' fashion. Todd and Kelly love clean lines, thus the decision to use pexi-glass stands was an easy one. We created a simple but artistic feel for the wedding by choosing straight lines both for the decor and flowers. The wedding guests were able to enjoy the many existing exhibits as the flowers and decor were not cluttered. Congrats to the special couple.

More Muskoka Weddings... Flowers And Decor At Taboo

More flowers, more decor for Muskoka weddings! We love it and we love working at Taboo Resort! The team at Rachel A. Clingen love the staff, (they are always so friendly and helpful), the scenery is beautiful and at the end of a busy work day we don't have any parking tickets! Tamara and Dusan exchanged their wedding vows on the patio overlooking the gorgeous lake Muskoka. The reception was held in the tented pavilion at Taboo. What a fun couple! The groom, Dusan loved our bouquets, posing for me with Tamaras flowers. He joked that she shouldn't be the only one to hold the beautiful flowers! It was a real pleasure planning the wedding flowers and decor for Dusan and Tamara's wedding and a real treat to once again be in Muskoka at Taboo!

Planning a Muskoka Wedding? Flowers And Decorating At The Regatta

Planning a wedding in Muskoka? Rachel A. Clingen Wedding and Event Design knows a thing or two about decorating and planning weddings in beautiful Muskoka. In July 2010 the company was able to help with the wedding planning of Darren and Shannon when they designed a beautiful wedding in Gravenhurst. Thank you to Samantha Erin Photography for fab images! This was a unique weddding in that the ceremony took place on the old time steam ship called the Segwun. Guests enjoyed the beautiful Muskoka waters and scenery as Shannon and Todd exchanged their vows. When the ship returned, it was fitting that the reception was held at the trendy Muskoka hot spot the 'Regatta'. The Regatta sits along the waters edge in the touristy down town area of Gravenhurst. Wedding planner, Rachel Clingen the owner of the wedding and design company says that many families from the city grew up frequenting their cottages in the Muskoka region and find it fitting to host a wedding in the region. Rachel A. Clingen has helped with the planning and decor of many Muskoka weddings and transformed many venues in the Muskoka region such as, Taboo Resort, Deerhurst, Bayview Wildwood Resort, Windermere House, Grandview, Rocky Crest. Her company specializes in Muskoka wedding planning and decor including wedding flowers, chair covers and linen rentals, backdrops and wedding planning. Muskoka Wedding Decor, Flowers And Bayview Wildwood Resort

We were thrilled to do the flowers and decor for Mat and Lindsey's wedding in beautiful Muskoka. This was a unique wedding, not just because David was the officiant but because the couple hosted their wedding over three days, allowing guests to enjoy the fabulous setting. All intentions were for an outdoor ceremony, but mother nature just would not cooperate! No problem though, the rustic but beautiful birch 'chuppa' was erected inside. Lindsey and Matt wanted to embrace the beauty of the Muskoka area with their decor elements so birch stumps with candles lined the aisle in between 'distressed' tins of flowers. The reception was held in the main dining room in the Bayview Wildwood lodge overlooking the beautiful waters. Birch stumps held the peony, mums and gerbera daisy floral arrangements. As well, Lindsey made little name card holders out of tree limbs. Thanks to http://www.integriphy.com for great shots. Thankyou to a special couple for entrusting us with their floral and decor needs and choosing beautiful Muskoka to host their wedding!

Orangeville Wedding Decor.. Farm Weddings... congratulations Meghan and Matt! Can't wait til the big day!

Most who know me, know just how much of a country girl I am! After a long days work, and putting the last centrepiece on a table, nothing feels better then making my way out of the city, to swing my leg over the back of my barrel horse 'Rica' and spending some time in the corral with David and the kids. Granted, I'll have to listen to them tell me just how bad of a rider I am, but Rica doesn't seem to mind! Now don't get me wrong I love the city (or at least the malls in the city), but when it comes to my roots, you'd be surprised to know, I appreciate the smell of barn as much as a gardenia! For this reason, it is with great excitement that we prepare for Megan and Mat's wedding decor near Orangeville.
Meghan is a dear friend and a true 'cowgirl! Her family own and operate a dairy farm west of Orangeville so it was only fitting to have have her engagement pictures and wedding on the property. Now while Meghan is all 'country', she wanted to make sure her wedding decor was elegant while still embracing elements of farm life. Watch for pictures of her special day..
